1983年、ジェッシー・庄寛・島さん宅に希望と夢を抱いた27人の同志が集い沖縄会が結成されました。それから35年の月日が流れ今日では200以上の家族に増え、沖縄会は、楽しく活発で誇りに思える会となりました。35周年記念祝賀会のテーマは「イチャリバチョーデー」（一度会ったら皆兄弟姉妹）です。家族と友人を大切に思いましょう。沖縄会は一つの家族です。2018年、4月21日、バージニア州アレキサンドリアにある、グラスゴースクールに於いて沖縄会創立35周年記念祝賀会を催します。是非お越し頂き、お力添えをお願い致します。 It was just a hope and dream among the 27 friends who met at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Jesse Shokan Shima in 1983 to form our Okinawa Kai, but here we are 35 years later with more than 200 families — happy, active and proud !
