Recollections of Okinawa ~Umukaji~

Haitai Gusuyo! The Okinawa Kai is starting an exciting project to collect the stories and recollections of people who are from, have family ties to, or who have lived or been stationed in Okinawa. Our goal is to provide a living history for our descendants and others interested in Okinawa. Details for a contest to decide the name of the finished product will be in the next issue of Deigo Shinpo newsletter. We plan to post the collected stories on the Okinawa Kai website and make DVDs available. Brad Ball will be the lead on this project. He welcomes any inputs, volunteers, or suggestions. To see more details on how to contribute to this project, see the full announcement here.
